Wonder Cabinet - A culinary collaboration
Founded by architects Elias and Yousef Anastas, Wonder Cabinet is a space for artistic experimentation and cultural production in Bethlehem. Bringing together architecture, design, music, craftsmanship and food, it offers a place for creative exchange, where disciplines meet and new ideas take shape.
For Palestinian chef Fadi Kattan, the ongoing collaboration with Wonder Cabinet is also a return to the city at the heart of his culinary journey. Having developed the bar food menu, he brings a contemporary interpretation of Palestinian cuisine into this vibrant cultural space, drawing on local ingredients, familiar flavours and the freedom to reinterpret them.
At a time when cultural life in Palestine faces extraordinary challenges, creating, cooking and gathering in Bethlehem carries particular meaning. The collaboration is an expression of a living, evolving Palestinian culture - one one that continues to imagine its own future.
